About the company

Dreamcatcher is a 45-foot sailing catamaran going on a three-year expedition from Norway and around the world, starting September 1st, 2027. Dreamcatcher is available as a mobile Living Lab, test and demonstration platform for Norwegian technology companies. The expedition will be manned by 2 expedition leaders for the whole trip, plus guest crew.

About the equipment

Sailing catamaran with crew, available for connecting sensors, collecting samples and testing gear in extreme marine conditions, multiple climate sones and changing communication availability. The route is planned from Norway via Europe and the Atlantic Ocean, through The Panama Canal to the Galápgos, across the Pacific Ocean to South-East Asia. Continuing via Japan, Hawaii, Canada and Alaska, through the Northwest Passage back to Norway.

Safety requirements

Safety on board is a priority. Crew training may be required depending on the type of task and project.

The 2 expedition leaders are main crew for the whole expedition, with additional guest crew. Expedition lead is available for planning test protocols, operation instructions and documentation before and during the expedition.
